Dairy Herd Manager

37 A/S Herringbone shed milking 440 friesian cows located near Kahutara. Start Date 1 st June 2024 Requirements: - At least three year’s experience as a Dairy Farm Assistant/Herd manager - Someone who can step up when the manager is away. Your daily tasks will include milking, tractor work, fence repairs, break fencing, shifting irrigators, diagnose and treat ill stock and shed hygiene. You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week, including the winter months. Roster would be 11 on 3 off, 6 on 1 off for the month of August. A 3 bedroom home is available. Woodsheds, garage. Very large section. Salary is negotiable on experience and skills but will be negotiable for the right candidate.
