Trinity Employment Services are recruiting on behalf of our Clients who are a 100% South Island, independently owned chain of tyre outlets. With over 14 company owned stores throughout the South Island they provide fast, professional tyre sales and service to both the commercial transport industry and to local communities. We are looking for multiple trained full time Fleet Service Technicians to hit the road. The role will be based out of the Invercargill store. The hours of work can be flexible for the right applicant, however the store hours are 7.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am - 12.00pm on Saturdays. On call work is based on a rotating roster and some extra weekend work is required from time to time. Minimum of 45 Hours per week. The Remuneration offered will vary on experience but based on an hourly rate of $25 - $35. A full drivers licence and experience driving is required and any proof of training/experience that the applicant has undertaken in the tyre industry. You will need to have a minimum of one year experience in fleet servicing/commercial tyre fitting. Please see a brief Job Description below: Job Description Key Tasks include but are not limited to… STAFF Be a positive Team Member. Encourage and follow safe work practices. Wear the correct uniform and be professional in their appearance. Follow Standard Operating Procedures for mobile fleet service providing exceptional Customer Service. To comply with all lawful instructions given by the Branch Manager. SALES AND SERVICE Implement and encourage the use of the company Floorplan pricing. Maximising sales – appraising the whole vehicle, not just fixing the presented problem. Ensure all job cards / invoices capture correct Customer, Vehicle and Product information and are completed for each job. Taking / receiving payment from customers once work is performed. Focus on exceeding Customer expectations by… Listening carefully and understanding the Customers problem Ensure the work we perform addresses and corrects the presented problem Explain to the customer how we have fixed their problem. Thank the Customer for their business and invite them back To supply, fit, repair and service tyres in store and at designated customers’ premises. Ensure products used follow Customers Tyre Policy. Seek prior approval / authorization for unscheduled tyre replacement. To provide exceptional customer service whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety. To foster a good working relationship between customers and the business. Participating in the after-hours call-out roster as required. In store fitting and service work as required. To comply with all lawful instructions given by the Branch, Forecourt and Fleet Service Manager. Phone call or text to Fleet Service Manager with Job Card number upon completion of job. Notify Fleet / Forecourt Service Manager that morning should you be unable to attend work due to illness. Apply to Branch Manager 2 weeks in advance of any Annual Leave. HOUSE KEEPING Maintain a clean and tidy well-organized work environment. Wear Clean Company provided uniform. Ensure tools and equipment are in good condition and fit for use. Maintain a clean, mechanically sound and well stocked fleet service vehicle. Complete a Monthly Fleet Truck Stocktake & Assessment Form Maintain a Current C.O.F / W.O.F Regular Mechanical Service Company Vehicles are cleaned regularly both inside and out. (No buildup of waste and rubbish inside cab) DOCUMENTATION & INFORMATION GATHERING To provide daily documentation in relation to work performed Time sheet are handed in Daily with corresponding job cards recorded / attached Job cards are completed for each job, capturing correct Customer, Vehicle and Product information. Essential information relating to the job is recorded, i.e. Time, Location, Reason for replacement. Tread depths of removed and remaining tyres are recorded on job card, (time permitting) STOCK Select products based on confidence in product, features & benefits, point of difference & price points. Assist with retail product stock take count. Assist with office administration when required. HEALTH AND SAFETY To take all practicable steps to ensure your own safety and the safety of others. Utilize the Call Centre when working alone or after hours. Comply with Customers Induction Requirements. Use the correct PPE for the job Inform Branch Manager if PPE is lost or no longer fit for use. Always use Axle Stands/Wooden Blocks, Chocks, Vehicle Tag Out Signs, Road Cones. Use Safe Tyre Inflation practices and Safety Cages (Where available) To notify the Service or Branch Manager of any potential hazards. To notify the Service or Branch Manager of any Accidents, Incidents or Near Misses.
